The HOBY Alumni Organization promotes continued educational and leadership opportunities. All previous participants in either the Seminar or CLEW are members of the Alumni Organization. Alumni are active participants in many school and community organizations.

How to become a Junior Counselor:

1. Attend the HOBY conference as an ambassador.
2. Plan and conduct a CLeW before the HOBY conference of your junior year.
3. Begin logging your 100 hours and preparing your portfolio for the HOBY scholarship.
4. Help register HOBY ambassador(s) from your school for the year you intend to be a JC.
5. Contact Lee Gillie at lee.gillie@nebo.edu beginning in November and before February.
6. JC selection will begin in January and end in February each year.
7. The selection process will entail the criteria above as well as your response to a couple written questions and recommendations from your counselor and JC of your ambassador year.
